What’s in the Workshop

We’re opening the workshop doors to share what’s been on the bench. No polished installation shots, no styled photography — just the work as it is, mid-process, showcasing the craft and detail that go into every piece of bespoke metalwork before it leaves the building.

Here’s what’s been keeping the team busy this spring.

Spiral Handrail — Boodles, Old Bond Street

A spiral handrail in a tube profile, with LED downlights fitted to the underside and the rail itself wrapped in leather. It’s one of several bespoke elements we’re producing for the new Boodles Townhouse on Old Bond Street — a major four-storey commercial retail fit-out under development since the start of the year.

Bronze Louvre Cladding — Hampstead Penthouse

We’re cladding an entire rooftop structure with bespoke bronze louvres as part of a large residential penthouse renovation in Hampstead. The project also includes thermally broken glass rooflights, bronze wall cladding, and stainless-steel pull-down seats for the steam room. A large, multi-element job with a wide range of materials and finishes.

Polished Brass Shower Screens — Virginia Water

A pair of bespoke shower screens in polished brass, together with a specialist brass handrail running the full length of the main staircase, down and around into the basement. Clean metalwork, tight detailing, and a finish that must be perfect.

Brass Display Cabinet — Boghossian, Old Bond Street

A new window display cabinet for Boghossian on Old Bond Street is currently in the workshop, being wrapped in brass. Commercial metalwork like this demands precision — every edge, every joint, every reflection matters.

Kitchen Brass Rails and Sliding Ladders

Brass rails run across two opposite walls above the cabinetry, bending around the corners, with two brass ladders on roller casters that slide along them. The cabinet doors will feature restoration glass panels. Still in the design and development phase, but shaping up nicely.

Decorative Ventilation Louvres and Entrance Portal

A pair of decorative louvres, painted to match Corten-style rusty steel wall cladding, fitted alongside an entrance portal composed of three large plates of gunmetal-finished aluminium. Small pieces, big visual impact — installed on site by our team.

That’s a snapshot of what’s been through the workshop this month. The range tells the story — from spiral handrails to kitchen ladders, brass cladding to steam room seating. Every piece is different, and that’s the point. See more of our work in our case studies.
