Founded in 1972 by Terry Nevill in Tottenham, North London, our company began with a simple yet powerful vision: to provide bespoke steelwork of unparalleled quality to the local construction industry. In 1979, Terry tragically passed away, leaving the business to his wife Pamela and their sixteen-year-old son, Paul. Despite the immense challenge, Paul embraced the responsibility, immersing himself in the craft and learning from the ground up. His relentless pursuit of perfection earned the company widespread recognition for top-quality fabrications, distinguished by meticulous attention to detail and engineering excellence.
Paul Nevill’s journey from the workshop floor to company leadership embodies our commitment to ensure there is practical knowledge and expertise at all levels of the organisation. Over decades, he immersed himself in every aspect of metal fabrication, honing his skills and pushing the boundaries of what was possible. Under Paul’s guidance, T Nevill & Co evolved from a local steelwork supplier to a national leader in the high-end interior design sector.
Our focus on detail has become a defining trait, earning us a role in some of London’s most respected and high-profile projects. We’ve had the privilege of contributing to countless bespoke interiors, each project driven by our dedication to excellence.
In 2011, the company welcomed the third generation of Nevills when Paul’s eldest son, Dan, joined the team. Following in his father’s footsteps, Dan learned the intricacies of engineering and metalwork from the ground up. This hands-on approach ensures that our leadership understands every nuance of the craft, from the most basic techniques to the most advanced processes.
Dan’s transition to Managing Director in 2016 marked a new chapter in our history. While Paul stepped into an advisory role, his forty years of experience continue to inform and inspire our work. Under Dan’s leadership, we’ve renewed our commitment to continuous improvement, embracing new technologies and techniques while honouring our traditional skills.
